We are one of the area’s premier school districts, serving nearly 5,900 students in the communities of Collegeville, Lower Frederick, Perkiomen, Schwenksville, Skippack, and Trappe
.

PVSD has a total of seven schools: high school (grades 9-12), two middle schools (grades 6-8); and four elementary schools (grades K-5).

Applicants Sought for an Anticipated Vacancy on the Perkiomen Valley School District School Board 

 

Eligible residents of the Perkiomen Valley School District interested in being appointed to the School Board must submit a letter of interest, a résumé, and three references. Materials must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012.  The School Board will conduct an interview of candidates at its July 2 public meeting. Applications are to be submitted to the Board President: email to lkbigelow@pvsd.org, USPS mail to Lynn Bigelow (3 Iron Bridge Drive, Collegeville, PA 19426), or dropped off for Lynn Bigelow at the district office, 3 Iron Bridge Drive, Collegeville, PA 19426. What's Happening in PV?
 
New! The District Art Show has been moved from May 16-17 to May 30 (5 to 8 p.m.) and May 31 (5 to 7 p.m.) in the PVHS auxiliary gym. Come out and experience the talent and instruction students K-12 receive in PV's art classes.
PVMS East and West will be holding a Parents' Night for those with children entering either middle school next year. The event will be held in the auditorium of each respective school from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29.

The Perkiomen Valley School District Board of School Directors approved the proposed final (preliminary) 2012-13 budget at the May 7th work session. For information and a link to the presentation, click here.
The next Superintendent's Roundtable Discussion will be held Wednesday, May 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the district office. The topic will be Curriculum and Instruction, but other topics may be brought forward by participants. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP.
