March 15, 2020 (Food Distribution Information)

Dear PV Families,

In our efforts to support you during the school shut down, we have expanded the provision of food for those who may need it. If your child regularly participates in the Free and Reduced lunch program or would benefit from breakfast and lunch during this time, we have made the following arrangements for pick-up of these meals at Schwenksville Elementary School and Perkiomen Valley High school during the week.

BEGINNING MONDAY MARCH 16 – Breakfast and lunch will be available for pickup between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Perkiomen Valley High School and Schwenksville Elementary School as a drive-through service. Please RSVP your participation using this form. This will help the school district to know how many meals to prepare in the coming week. Lunch will begin as cold sandwiches and shift to hot meals later in the week (chicken nuggets, patties, etc.).

Perkiomen Valley High School pick-up location:
Bus circle outside the cafeteria entrance (the Campus Drive side of the building). See map below - click on image to enlarge.
Drivers should pull around the circle and receive a bag of food from a food service employee.

Schwenksville Elementary pick-up location:
Enter the driveway from Perkiomen Ave. (adjacent to Greenfield Senior Living) where buses typically enter for drop-off and pick-up of students. See map below - click on image to enlarge. Families should travel around the bus circle outside the main entrance and receive a bag of food from a food service employee.

· Families can receive the food at either location, regardless of home school. No questions asked at pick-up.
· Please make the school district aware of any allergies when responding via the form. Alternative meal options will be available for those students with allergies, as necessary.

PV Power Packs will provide supplemental food for the next two weeks as well. Families can opt to pick up on Tuesday or Friday between the hours of 8:00-10:00 am or 4:00-6:00 pm at either the high school or Schwenksville. These food bags will contain a week’s worth of food. The high school pick-up will be across from the stadium in the lower parking lot (see map above). Individuals will be on the sidewalk on the perimeter of the lot to hand-off. Schwenksville will follow the same procedure as described above, using the bus circle for hand-offs.
