Passwords

  • If your child is unable to log in or has forgotten their password, please reset their password at https://accounts.pvsd.org/.

  • If your child is still unable to log in, please submit a ticket at helpdesk@pvsd.org for assistance.


Damaged Devices

  • If your child’s device is unable to function, please submit a ticket at helpdesk@pvsd.org.  Please list all pertinent information - student’s name - specific school the child attends - student ID# if available.  Then list the details of the issue the student is having. Working with Files
You can use many types of files on your Chromebook, like documents, PDFs, images, and videos.
Almost everything you work on will be saved in your Google Drive. However, you can choose to save your files to your Chromebook’s hard drive, or an external hard drive.

Working Without an Internet Connection
While the Chromebook thrives with an internet connection, one is not required for the tool to be valuable and productive.
Many Google and Chrome applications (including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides) allow for offline access. This will allow a student to work offline and sync to
the Google drive as soon as they have network access. This support page from Google should help you with all of these possibilities

Service Center 

We have established a Chromebook Service Center in every building to provide tech support and repair the Chromebooks if there are any issues. 

The Service Center can also do a device health check-up, identify potential threats to your Chromebook, and ensure your current settings are running at peak performance.
