PVSD has partnered with the Life After Trauma Organization (LATO), a group committed to bringing trauma focused services to adults and teens through the global pandemic.
LATO is offering Information Sessions to our PV parents.  The sessions focus on helping parents/caregivers regain empathy for themselves and for their children. During the session, we will address the stressors that continue one year after the pandemic began. In addition, LATO will share strategies for coping and healing and assists parents and their children in realizing what a new normal might be.  Please consider joining us:

About LATO
LATO’s core trauma goals are prevention, intervention, and recovery. At the onset, LATO focused on our teachers and support staff as they navigated the new way of "doing school" and serving our students during the pandemic. They intend to work with interested parents in our community next. LATO provides trauma healing and education to communities to include, teachers, parents, students, and those experiencing trauma as a result of the current climate, https://www.thelifeaftertrauma.org/.
