August, 2018

Dear Families,

I hope you and your family are enjoying a fun filled, relaxing summer!  My name is Mrs. Alicia Kammerer and I will be your child’s Autistic Support teacher this school year.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child.  We will work hard and learn many new things!

I am excited to be starting my ninth year teaching in the Perkiomen Valley School District.  In the past, I have taught Learning Support, Autistic Support, and Life Skills Support.  I received my undergraduate degree in elementary and special education from East Stroudsburg University.  I later achieved a master’s degree in special education with a concentration in Autism from Arcadia University.

Please consider donating the following items to our classroom:

-      Dry Erase Markers

-      Tissues

-      Hand sanitizer

-      Pencils/Erasers

Should you have any questions before the start of the school year, please do not hesitate to contact me (  I look forward to partnering with you this year to facilitate your child’s success.
