My name is Mr. Hughes and I have been teaching 8th grade at Perkiomen Valley since 2004.    It brings me much joy to teach science to the students of Perkiomen Valley.  As a child, people always told me that I should go into teaching as my personality thrives on interactions with others.  At Kutztown University, I graduated with a Bachelor's of Education and continued my education through East Stroudsburg to earn my Master's in Education.

Outside the classroom, I coach soccer, sponsor game club, and ski and snowboard club as well as run active clubs like floor hockey, basketball, badminton, and girls' volleyball.
