About Me:

Welcome to music!  I am proud to have started my career at Perkiomen Valley and Skippack Elementary back in 2008, after graduating from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. earning my degree in Music Education focusing in Vocal Performance.  In 2013 I earned my Master's Degree in Music Education/Vocal Performance from West Chester University.  I was lucky enough to marry Mr. D'Aversa in 2015, and we have a beautiful one year old daughter, Ryleigh.  We currently live with her and our 2 cats, Squeaky and Guinness.  I look forward to a great year in music class!

What to Expect:
In all music classes, we sing, dance, and learn about musical concepts and skills.  Each year, we focus on a different type of musical skill; steady beat, rhythm, matching pitch, patriotic and folk music, and in fifth grade, chorus.  Please see the links on the righthand side for a more detailed look at our scope and sequence and curriculum.

What's Going on in Music this Month?
