Virtual Voyage 2.0
Are you looking for some learning enhancements to help your child maintain skills learned? There are hundreds of resources made available to us right now. This is great, but can also be very overwhelming. Here are a list of some resources I would suggest to help your child maintain progress in content that was already presented or skills that were already taught. If you would like to chat further, please reach out via email. I am more than happy to support in any way I can!

Read for at least 20 minutes a day

Visit ClassLink for
Reading Eggs (K-2) or Exact Path (3-5)

Romper - “Operation Storytime” - Famous people reading
children’s books during the school shutdown.

Storyline Online - The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s award-winning
children’s literacy
website, Storyline Online, streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading
children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations.

Epic  - Teachers must invite parents to join.
If your child's homeroom teacher
does not already use this resource and you are interested in checking it out,
send me and email and I will invite your child to join my "class."

Raz-Kids - free individual subscription for the remainder of the school year;
parents can explore free videos and documents to help implementation at home.

Scholastic Learn at Home (Scholastic Classroom Magazines)

Every day includes four separate learning experiences,

each built around a thrilling, meaningful story or video.

Kids can do them on their own, with their families, or with their teachers.

Just find your grade level and let the learning begin!

Wonderopolis - Great video in the “about” section that explains all the different features.

Each day, this site poses an intriguing question—the Wonder of the Day®—and explores it in a variety of ways. It is a place where natural curiosity and imagination lead to exploration and discovery in learners of all ages.

Newsela - (Grades 2-5)

Office Hours
If you would like to speak individually, I am available each day from 8:00-9:00 AM. Please send me an email, and we will set up a phone call or Zoom meeting from there.
