Dear Third Grader,

Hello and welcome to third grade!  My name is Mrs. Maxwell and I will be your teacher for the upcoming school year.  Although it’s sad to see summer come to an end, I am excited to meet you and begin our year together.

The following is a list of things that I would like you to bring to school on the first day:

      • 1 pencil pouch or box
      • 1 box of #2 pencils (12) - Please have them sharpened if you can!
      • 1 large glue stick
      • 4 dry erase markers
      • 1 dry erase eraser
      • 1 box of tissues
      • 1 folder of your choice for homework (no binders please)
      • Headphones/earbuds for computer use

*Please note – If you ordered the “EPI Back to School Kit” all items listed above should be included.

The following items would be helpful as well:

*1 pack of crayons

*1 container of Clorox wipes

*1 highlighter (yellow)

*1 pair of children’s scissors

*An extra sweatshirt (sometimes our room is chilly)

In just a few short weeks, we will be back again at Schwenksville ringing our school’s bell.  I hope you are eager to start the school year and begin many new friendships.  I can’t wait to meet you!  I will see you in room 16 on Monday, August 27.
