My Classes

The mission of the Perkiomen Valley School District is to provide a rich academic and cultural learning environment that maximizes available resources to assure that all students grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally, attaining the skills necessary to become successful citizens. 


Statistics
This course is designed to help students leave high school equipped with the ability to make sense of statistics and view the world more clearly and accurately. This curriculum focuses on the fundamental concepts of inferential and descriptive statistics with emphasis on interpretation of statistical arguments including: Exploring and understanding categorical and quantitative data; the relationship between two variables; sampling methods; experimental design; randomness and probability; and confidence intervals and inference about means and proportions. Students have access to course materials through Google Classroom. 


Algebra III/Trigonometry
This course studies various types of functions that are important in modeling real-life situations. It includes the study of trigonometric, polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions and equations. Graphing calculator skills will be taught and used in this course. Throughout this course, students will develop learning strategies, critical thinking skills, and problem solving techniques to prepare for future math courses and college entrance exams. Students have access to course materials through Google Classroom.
