Vision/ Background/ Information It is the Vision of Skippack Elementary School to create a learning environment that is student centered, focused on achievement and growth, directed by skilled and compassionate staff, and supported by home and community. We strive to foster a love of learning and positive citizenship. Background
My service to the Perkiomen Valley School District began in the fall of 1999, first as a 7th and 8th grade social studies teacher at what is now Perkiomen Valley Middle School East. During that time I coached football as an 8th grade assistant coach, 8th grade head coach, and varsity assistant coach. In 2001 I moved into the role of adminstrative assistant, then assistant principal, then co-principal (during construction of Perkiomen Middle School West). In the fall of 2004 I became principal of Perkiomen Valley Middle School West. Being a part of the opening of PVMS West, working with students, faculty, and families to establish the culture and program was a valued highlight in my career. I served as principal at PVMS West from 2004 through the 2012-3013 school year. Currently, I serve as principal of Skippack Elementary School. Working with younger students, building their academic, social, and behavioral skills and characteristics is the focus of our work.
