Hello Schwenksville Families,

If you have found this letter by accident while looking to communicate with me, please continue to read and let me know if I can be of assistance to you or your student.

Mrs. Town here just reaching out to say hello. I miss seeing, interacting and instructing your children. I wanted to let you know that in addition to my colleagues that have contacted you and shared an awesome amount of resources and learning enhancements, I will also be connecting with families and students. If this is all too overwhelming please reply to this email with a No. Then, I will communicate less. If it is okay to continue, please reply yes. It is not our staff’s intention to overwhelm but to share our talents and resources. Just like in the classroom, one activity a teacher offers may appeal to a student differently than another. If I can lend my help with any suggested activity, question, or problem please contact me.

I am frequently checking email from 8am - 3:30pm and then intermittently throughout the evening. Please reach out if you have any questions, need anything, or if your child would like to say hello. If I don’t have the answer, I will connect with a colleague and find the answer.  I miss all the children and hope we can get back to school as soon as possible.

If you are interested, I have invited your student to join my Google Classroom. Through this page, I will be able to communicate and share directly with students through Google Classroom via the Launchpad/Class Link the district has provided.

How does my child access Google Classroom?

1. Students will need to login to Classlink.  Click here for directions.

2. Once on Classlink you will see all of your child's apps.

3. Look for our classroom page and click on the blue button "Join"

I would like the opportunity to connect with children; whether it be them reading to me or me reading to them, or even doing a learning activity together. There are resources to use with most devices which require audio only or audio and video capabilities.

Stay well.

Mrs. Wendy Town
