PVSD has officially launched its new School Bus Safety Program in partnership with the PVSD Police Force and BusPatrol, a leader in stop-arm enforcement technology.
All district buses are now equipped with photo enforcement systems that detect vehicles illegally passing stopped school buses when red lights are flashing and stop arms are extended. Video evidence is reviewed by law enforcement before a citation is issued.
This important initiative is aimed at keeping our students safe on their way to and from school. Thank you for doing your part—stop for the bus!
