While it has been the long-standing practice of the Perkiomen Valley School District to keep the school community informed of safety-related incidents that occur in our schools, a recent change in state law now mandates specific notification timelines. Effective January 6, 2026, the Pennsylvania School Code requires that schools notify parents and employees of any possession of a weapon on school property within 24 hours of the incident.
