Garden Club – The Skippack Learning Garden has grown into a thriving, school-wide outdoor classroom rooted in collaboration, creativity, and community dedication. As we celebrate its 10th anniversary, we are deeply grateful to the SEED Committee—the passionate group of volunteers who helped bring this vision to life and sustain its growth.
PVHS Debate Team – Under the direction of coaches Dr. Alison Atherton and Mr. Gary Heidt, six PVHS students qualified for the National Speech and Debate Tournament after demonstrating incredible skill and finishing at the top of their categories against the best speech and debate competitors in Southeastern Pennsylvania: Lane A., Hananyaa A., Claire A., Conrad L., Adwita T., and Rebecca Z.
High School Color Guard National Champions- The Perkiomen Valley Color Guard proudly captured the Tournament Indoor Association Atlantic Coast A Class Championship under the direction of Jennifer Rhein and Maurice Yates, with staff support from Hannah Pawling, Melody Called, Alyssa Sassman, and DJ Deans. Group members include: Alex A., Abigail B., Jayla D., Yavanna H., Abigail L., Maddie L., Nora M., Olivia M., Rylie M., Ardyn R., Kaitlin S., Christina Y.
Track and Field – The Boys Track and Field Team captured the PAC Championship title! Over the two-day meet, these athletes earned more points than the second and third-place teams combined! Beyond the incredible score, this victory was a true team effort; the entire roster made their presence felt at every event, loudly cheering on their teammates and embodying the highest ideals of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Congratulations to these outstanding student-athletes and their coaches, including Joe Petsko, Khyrstina Bauman, Emily Cooney, Jason Eicholtz, Thomas Farney, Julie Fredette, Jaden Price-Whitehead, Kelly Sorber-Volk, Cardwell Wootten, on an unforgettable championship!
Individual track & field achievements to celebrate include:
- Gianna M. – PAC Champion 200m Dash
- Kyle T., Nate B., Cooper H., and Zach K. – PAC Championship in the 4 x 800, 5th Place at the State and District Championship and qualified for the Championship of American Race at Penn Relays (finishing 8th overall)
- Kyle T – PAC champion in the 3200m run, 8th place in the State Championship meet, and the current school record holder
- Gavin R. – PAC Champion in the Javelin, medaled at the District meet, qualified for the State meet, and the current school record holder in the Javelin
- Ava F. – Penn Relays High School Javelin Championship, District PAC Championship, PAC Champion for Javelin and Discus, named the state Runner up for Javelin. Plus, best Javelin throw in the national competition ( 172′ 2″), passing her own school record in that event
- Colin S. – State Championship in Shot Put, District Championship in Shot Put, PAC Championship in Shot Put and Discus, and named the Penn Relays Runner Up for Shot Put. Plus, set a new school record in the Shot Put at 65′ 1.75″
