Cafeteria Debt Donations

If you are interested in donating funds to offset student cafeteria debts, please see below for information on how the donations will be distributed. Thank you for your generosity!

Student Donations:

  • Graduating or Transferring Students with positive student meal account balances may elect to donate the money to benefit another student. The funds may stay within the food service account.
  • The funds are transferred from the student meal account of the donor to PrimeroEdge account titled
  • Donation Account
    Donations are dispersed from the PrimeroEdge Donation Account to recipient students.
    • Graduating Students donations are dispersed as follows:
      • Graduating Free Students with Negative Balance
      • Graduating Reduced Students with Negative Balance
      • Graduating Full Pay Students with a denied application and a negative balance
      • Graduating Full Pay Students with a negative balance
      • High School Free Students with Negative Balance
      • High School Reduced Students with Negative Balance
      • High School Full Pay Students with a denied application and a negative balance
      • K-8 Free Students with Negative Balance
      • K-8 Reduced Students with Negative Balance
      • K-8 Full Pay Students with a denied application and a negative balance
      • K-8 Full Pay Students with a negative balance
    • Transferring Students donation are dispersed as follows:
      • All Free Students with Negative Balance
      • All Reduced Students with Negative Balance
      • All Full Pay Students with a denied application and a negative balance
      • All Full Pay Students with a negative balance

Community or Public Donations:

  • Donation funds from the public will be deposited into the Food Service Account, using a separate revenue account code
  • The funds are applied to PrimeroEdge account titled Community Donation Account
  • Donations towards Negative Balances are disbursed from the PE Donation Account to recipient students as follows (unless specific instructions are received from the donor):
    • The donation is divided equally between all Free Students with Negative Balance until 100% of the donation is used or all negative balances are paid.
    • The remainder of the donation is divided equally between all Reduced Students with Negative Balance until 100% of the donation is used or all negative balances are paid.
    • The remainder of the donation is divided equally between all Full Pay Students with a denied application and a negative balance until 100% of the donation is used or all negative balances are paid.
    • The remainder of the donation is divided equally between all Full Pay Students with a negative balance until 100% of the donation is used or all negative balances are paid.
  • Donations that Fund a Student Meal account for future use are disbursed from the PrimeroEdge Donation Account. Where the donor requests specific schools, the guidelines will apply to the students within that school.
    • FUNDING APPROVED REDUCED STUDENTS – The donation is divided equally between all approved Reduced Students Balance until 100% of the donation is used.
    • FUNDING STUDENTS WITH DENIED APPLICATIONS – The donation is divided equally between students where total annual income listed on the application is over the maximum required income as stated on the Free/Reduced Income & Household Member Guidelines by up to $1200.
