We hope you enjoy your meals! Please take a few moments to read the information below regarding storage and preparation of your meals.
All foods requiring refrigeration need to be kept at a temperature of 40 ° F or below. Shelf-stable items should be stored at a temperature of 85 ° F or below.
ALL FRESH MILK & YOGURT – Refrigeration is required. Consume by the “Best By” date located on the product.
ALL CEREALS, COOKIES, CRACKERS & CHIPS – Shelf stable. Refrigeration is not required. Consume before the “Best By” date found on the product.
GRAIN BASED BREAKFAST PASTRIES (eg: Pancakes, Waffles, Bagels, etc.) – Previously frozen product. Refer to packaging for heating instructions.
GRAIN-BASED BREAKFAST CAKES (for example: vitamin bar, honey bun, mussin, cinnamon roll, etc.) – Previously frozen product. Long lasting, but consume in 5 days.
ALL JUICES: Requires refrigeration. Consume within 5 days.
ALL SHELF-STABLE FRUIT – (eg: Applesauce cups, Raisins, etc.) – Shelf-stable. No refrigeration required. consume by the “Best By” date located on the product.
FRESH PROCESSED / BAGGED FRUIT & VEGETABLES & COLD FRUIT CUPS – Refrigeration required. Consume by the “Best By” date located on the product.
STRING CHEESE – Refrigeration required. Consume within 5 days.
BREAKFAST BARS: Product previously frozen. No need to keep refrigerated, but consume within 5 days.
LUNCH ITEMS THAT REQUIRE WARMING (ex: mini cheeseburgers, burritos, pizza, etc.); Store refrigerated until ready to heat and consume. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 5 days. Heat up by following the warming instructions on this form below, and consume within two hours.
COLD SANDWICHES (ex: PBJ, Wrap, Sub Sandwich, Wedge Sandwich, etc.) – Refrigeration required. Consume the same day.
IMPORTANT – FOR ANYONE WHO HAS ALLERGIES, PLEASE BE SURE TO READ ALL LABELS BEFORE CONSUMING.
If the item has heating instructions on packaging, follow the manufacturer’s recommended heating instructions. If the item does not have heating instructions on the packaging, follow the instructions below to safely heat. Please note: since the type of products vary, and all microwaves and ovens vary in power, all cooking times are approximate and may need to be adjusted. Product will be hot – consume with caution and consume within 2 hours.
