Free and Reduced Meal Information

The Perkiomen Valley School District participates in the National School Meals Program.   Students may be eligible for free or reduced meals if the household income is within the guidelines established by the United States Department of Agriculture. Eligibility is based on household income and the number of household members.

We are no longer permitted to provide free meals to all students.  We strongly encourage all families who think they may qualify for our Free and Reduced Meal Program to apply online at www.schoolcafe.com.    Financial situations have changed for many families and, if you qualify, the benefits of the program will continue through the entire school year. Participation in our Free & Reduced Meal Program affects many areas of school funding including Activity Fees, Computer Network Fees, Testing Fees, College App Fees and, of course, School Meals!

Students who received Free or Reduced Meals in previous years still need to complete a new Free and Reduced Meal Application for this year.   It is very fast and easy for families to apply for free or reduced price meals!  You can apply online at www.schoolcafe.com.

It is best to complete the application prior to the start of the school year so students who qualify will begin receiving their benefit and no debt is incurred.

Applications will be submitted electronically to the Food Service Department for processing.  If you do not have access to a computer, please contact the Food Service Department at (610) 489-8506, ext 1109 for a paper application.
