PSERS is a governmental, cost-sharing, multiple-employer pension plan to which public school employers, the Commonwealth, and school employees (members) contribute. Once you qualify for membership, you will have a defined benefit (DB) plan, a defined contribution (DC) plan, or a hybrid with both DB and DC components.
Perkiomen Valley School District offers our eligible employees the additional opportunity to save for retirement by participating in a 403(b) Tax-Sheltered Annuity (TSA) Plan.
All employees, except for private contractors, appointed/elected trustees and/or school board members and student workers, are eligible to participate in the 403(b) Plan immediately upon employment. You can participate in this plan by making pre-tax contributions.
