Library Legacy Book Program
Hello, Schwenksville Families!
We would like to introduce you to a wonderful program in the library—our Library Legacy Book Program (Previously the Birthday Book). This program allows you to donate $20.00 to our school library so we can purchase a book in honor of your child’s birthday, a special occasion, just because, or in memory of a loved one. This allows you to do something special for your child and our school simultaneously. When you make a monetary donation, we will do the following:
If you are interested in participating in this optional program, please complete the form below and return the form and payment ($20.00) to the library. We love to get the forms at the beginning of the year for our planning purposes; however, we know things happen. Feel free to send in the form anytime throughout the school year. We will start presenting books in October. If your child’s birthday or the date you choose is in June, July, August, September, or early October, we will celebrate on their “half-year” birthday month.
An average library book, including special binding, processing, and shipping, is $20.00. We ask for a monetary donation from you rather than a book donation. For 1st-5th grades, we will have your child choose a book for their birthday. For kindergarten, we will ask for suggestions from the teacher.
Please include payment when you sign up. This simplifies the process and allows us to order books ahead of time. Please make checks payable to “Schwenksville Elementary.” If you don’t choose to sign up now, this form will remain on the website throughout the year if you change your mind.
