Perkiomen Valley School District offers an optional SMS (text message) notification program for authorized district staff, called PVSD Hall Pass Alerts. This page describes the program, how staff opt in, and the terms that apply. These are internal, operational school notifications — not marketing.

Perkiomen Valley School District offers an optional SMS (text message) notification program for authorized district staff. These are internal, operational school notifications — not marketing.

Who can enroll

Authorized district staff only (for example, building administrators and office staff). Enrollment is voluntary and is not a condition of employment, enrollment, or receiving school services.

How staff opt in

1. An authorized staff member signs in to the district’s Hall Pass application.
2. They open Config → Alerts → Alert Recipients and enter the mobile number that should receive alerts.
3. They check the consent box shown below. The number is saved only after the box is checked, and consent is recorded with a timestamp.

The box is unchecked by default; the staff member must actively check it to consent.

What subscribers receive

Operational Hall Pass alerts — for example, a notice when a pass-restricted student attempts to leave class. Example messages:

• Perkiomen Valley SD Hall Pass: a pass-restricted student attempted to leave class. Open Hall Pass for details. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
• Perkiomen Valley SD Hall Pass alert: a restricted student attempted a pass. Automated staff notification. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

SMS Terms & Conditions

• Program: PVSD Hall Pass Alerts, operated by Perkiomen Valley School District for its authorized staff.
• By opting in you agree to receive recurring automated SMS Hall Pass notifications at the number provided.
• Message frequency varies with Hall Pass activity.
• Message and data rates may apply. The district does not charge for these messages.
• Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time; reply HELP for help. You may also remove your number in the Hall Pass configuration.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent is not a condition of employment, enrollment, or receiving school services.
• Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
